He began his career in technology as the co-founder and CEO of Chartio.com, a pioneering provider of cloud-based data visualization and analytics. He was subsequently part of the founding team at Patients Know Best, one of the world's leading cloud-based Personal Health Record (PHR) companies. In addition, he currently serves on the advisory council of Bayes Impact, a non-profit organization that deploys data science to solve important social challenges. David has also been a prolific investor and advisor to entrepreneurs. He has angel invested in over 35 early-stage companies, including Tracelytics (acquired by Appneta), Teespring, Zymergen, Change.org, Skycatch, Descomplica and others.
