Beyond JavaScript

To many developers, JavaScript is that colleague we hate but can't avoid. Thankfully, a wide-range of new tools, languages and supersets have emerged that allow developers to create JavaScript applications without writing JavaScript. These generally add important features missing from JavaScript but often necessary for enterprise application development like type checking, compile-time error checking, classical inheritance and others. In this track, we'll take a look at some of these options and examine the benefits and drawbacks of each.
