Speaker: Rachel Myers
Rachel is a Engineer working on Policy and Events at Firebase and across Google. She leads or contributes to several open source communities, including areas of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) and RailsBridge. Before joining Google, Rachel founded a deployment tooling company called Opsolutely, worked at GitHub as an engineer focused on improving the experience for people new to coding, and worked at ModCloth on everything from improving search to improving responsiveness for mobile users. She loves to chat about serverless eventing, improving deployment processes, and Firebase Security Rules. In her free time, Rachel enjoys backpacking in national parks, playing legos and boardgames, and gardening.
