Optimizing Mobile Performance with Real User Monitoring

Optimizing Mobile Performance with Real User Monitoring

Time:
Thursday, 11:55am - 12:45pm
Abstract:

The performance of your mobile application has significant implications on user perception, engagement, retention and revenues. Yet, navigating the mAPM (mobile application performance monitoring) waters can be overwhelming with such a wide variety of metrics and tools available. When experiencing poor performance in an app, 89% of people say that the best thing developers can do, even more so than providing a refund, is fix the problem quickly. In this talk we’ll walk through a simple framework for identifying the performance metrics that matter most to your users. We’ll look at how analyzing common mobile performance blind spots significantly increases the efficiency of the development life cycle. Learning how to effectively illuminate performance issues you can’t test for, in real time, will decrease troubleshooting time and resources – enabling you to create a better experience for your customers.
