Abstract:
This session will discuss the different patterns and technologies that are needed to scale large enterprise mobile systems. We will cover topics that include handling network connectivity, data reliability and real-time communication, and how all of these concepts are tied with each other.
Maria is a developer and senior consultant at Thoughtworks, where she helps companies to become more agile by delivering excellent software. She has an wide range of experience on web and mobile development technologies, with special interest on analyzing the opportunities and services that the cloud provides and how they can be used to build scalable software. One of her passions is coaching and helping the next generation of developers to achieve their goals. She is also really interested on motivating women to learn about technology and to support them if they want to make IT their career. @mariascandella
Cassandra is a Senior Consultant with ThoughtWorks, who has primarily been leading and working in a variety of mobile projects. She has primarily been involved in IOS, Android and Mobile web applications that are supported on multiple devices. She is also one of the leaders in the initiative to organize the women's group in ThoughtWorks and is also involved in promoting more female speakers in technology. @cassiend
