Peter Bell
Founder, SpeakG33kPeter is an experienced startup CTO. These days he helps technologists to improve their skills and business people to "speak g33k". He was the SVP of Engineering at General Assembly and the CTO at PowWow. He co-founded CTO school, is a member of the New York CTO club and runs the local node.js meetup. He has presented at a range of conferences including QCon, DLD conference, ooPSLA, RubyNation, Scottish Ruby, SpringOne2GX, Code Generation, UberConf, the Rich Web Experience and the No Fluff Just Stuff Enterprise Java tour.
He has been published in IEEE Software, Dr. Dobbs, IBM developerWorks, Information Week, Methods & Tools, Mashed Code, NFJS the Magazine and GroovyMag. He's currently writing a book on managing software development for Pearson.
