Track: Developer Experience: The Art and Science of Reducing Friction

Day of week: Wednesday

Engineers manage a confluence of friction competing against their ability to be productive: reacting to organizational changes, balancing technical debt with feature delivery and mitigating challenges collaborating with partners and stakeholders. In this track, we’ll explore experiments, observations and evidence that indicates building internal tooling focused on increasing developer productivity and honing cultural improvements in the workplace lead to greater engineering satisfaction and efficiency. A blend of case studies and internal tool demos give the audience practical advice on how to reduce friction within their own engineering organizations.
